It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our dear partner and friend Manuel Jiménez Pfingsthorn.

Manuel was part of JDF for 17 years, leading the Judicial, Dispute Resolution, Arbitration, Life Science and Antitrust areas. His hallmark was the training of new lawyers, generously sharing his knowledge and experience. His human and professional qualities contributed decisively to the development of our office.

Widely recognized in the legal world, he specialized in alternative dispute resolution, mediation, arbitration, antitrust, unfair competition, mergers and acquisitions. He was legal advisor to several companies and professor in undergraduate and graduate courses. During his professional practice, he was recognized in several international rankings such as The Legal 500 and Leaders League, as well as in the areas of JDF that he led.

Manuel was also Arbitrator of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce and member of the Chilean Bar Association.

We deeply regret his departure and send our sincere condolences to all who knew him.
